Fred passed away peacefully in hospital on 24th May 2026, aged 86 years. He was the beloved husband of Anita, and much loved Dad of the late Janet. He was a very proud Grandad of Lauren, Rebbekka, Jordanne and Logan, and great Grandad of Riley, Ollie, Elsie, Teddy and Bodhi.
He will be sadly missed by his sister Ella, sister in law Barbara and their families.
His funeral will take place on Friday 19th June 2026 at Oldham Parish Church at 10.30am prior to committal at Oldham Crematorium.
To celebrate Fred's love of Rugby League feel free to wear a rugby shirt or casual attire.
